When you find exactly the thing to do that makes you the happiest, waiting five years to do it again is too long, way too long. It’s been that long since my big hike on the Pacific Crest Trail and I’m going for a walk again. This time to England with my son Matt and my sister Rhonda to hike the Southwest Coast Path, aka the ‘Salt Path’. I’ll mark each overnight on the ‘Where Are They?’ page so friends and family can keep track of us. The Home Page will get regular posts as we go along. These could be photos, progress reports, and random thoughts as well. And I just like blogging better. I’m too wordy or something for Facebook or Instagram where it's such a struggle to say anything other than “Hey, look at me!”. Will this hike turn into another book? I hope so, because writing about walking is exactly the thing to do that makes me the next happiest. I’ve got some questions and themes I want to explore in another book and I’m looking forward to experiencing the trail and me...
